Daffyd Crick (a.k.a Borocan Glass) is a pipemaker in Prince George, British Columbia who works out of his homemade studio. Starting to blow glass fulltime only in 2017, he has learned very quickly how to make high quality and high functioning cannabis smoking tools. With inspiration from artists like Eli Mazet and Salt, he has embraced a classic style in the pipemaking game and hopes to put his uniqueness into his monsterthemed glass.

Borocan Glass has always been creative, originally starting by making jewelry with his father. His interest in pipemaking was inspired by his personal stash of cannabis pipes and bongs he collected throughout high school. When he really knew he wanted to blow glass started in 2015 during a glassblowing class at the Glass and Bead Expo in Las Vegas. Although it was his first time, the teaching assistant “ Canadian artist Kirill Korzinski, was impressed by Borocan’s natural grasp of the material. Afterwards the two would exchange contact info. From there, Borocan asked Kirill what he would need to setup his very own studio. Luckily, after some searching online, Borocan found a second hand setup that would include everything he needed to safely start his home studio. In his career Borocan has also taken lessons from Eli Mazet and Domenico Cima.Â

Starting as an artist he made a strong commitment to social media and community relations, believing that a strong community is key to a successful career. He also is an advocate for shop education and passionate shop owners. Coming from a Metis background, Daffyd really hopes to start creating functional works of art that reflect on himself, his local community and his place in cannabis legalization in Canada.
